What is Phosphate Buffered Saline?
Phosphate buffered saline is an isotonic, pH-stable liquid buffer widely used in laboratory work to reconstitute and dilute research peptides that are sensitive to pH drift. Supplied as a sterile liquid in kits of 10 vials, in 3 ml or 10 ml vial formats. It is not a powder.
Mechanism of action
Isotonic, pH-stable buffer (~7.4) that maintains peptide conformation during reconstitution and dilution steps.
Primary research areas
Buffered diluent for peptides sensitive to pH drift.
Research notes

- Unpreserved — intended for single-session handling rather than extended multi-day vial use.
